Terms and Conditions

Christina Craig Crafts Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. Who we are

Christina Craig Crafts is a sole trader business owned and operated by Christina Craig (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Trading address: 1 The Green, Mancot Lane, Mancot, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 2AJ, United Kingdom

Contact email: news@christinacraigcrafts.co.uk

Website: christinacraigcrafts.co.uk

Courses: courses.christinacraigcrafts.co.uk

We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices. If that changes, this document will be updated.

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply whenever you use our website, buy anything from us, or enrol on one of our courses. By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you buy.

If you don’t agree with something here, please contact us at news@christinacraigcrafts.co.uk before purchasing, and we’ll do our best to help.

2. What we offer

We provide online knitting courses and related digital content, delivered as pre-recorded video lessons that you work through at your own pace (“Courses”). Our current offers include (but are not limited to) Relaxation for Hands, Ready Hands Ready Needles, Calmly Learn Knitting and Sweater Success.

Course content, pricing and availability may change from time to time. We’ll always show you the current price and description before you buy.

3. Who can buy from us

Our Courses are intended for adults. By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have a parent or guardian’s permission to buy, and that any payment details you provide belong to you or that you have permission to use them.

4. Orders and payment

When you purchase a Course, you are making an offer to buy, which we accept once your payment has been successfully processed. Payments are taken securely through our third-party payment processor (currently Stripe). We do not store your card details ourselves.

Prices are shown in GBP (£) at the time of purchase and include any discount or offer window that was live when you bought (for example, an early-bird or limited-time price). Once your purchase is complete, the price you paid will not change.

If a payment fails, is declined, or a chargeback is raised, we may suspend or remove your access to the relevant Course until the matter is resolved.

5. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer buying from within the UK or EU, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason.

However, because our Courses are digital content delivered immediately on purchase (you get access to the lessons straight away), this cancellation right ends as soon as you begin accessing the Course, provided that:

we have clearly told you this before you bought, and

you have expressly agreed, at the point of purchase, to lose your right to cancel once you start accessing the content.

By completing your purchase and accessing your Course, you confirm that you understand and agree to this.

If you have not yet accessed any part of a Course you’ve bought, you may still cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — just email us at news@christinacraigcrafts.co.uk.

6. Refunds

Because our Courses give you immediate and lasting access to the content, we don’t offer refunds once you’ve started accessing a Course, except:

where you’re entitled to cancel under Section 5 above (i.e. before you’ve accessed anything), or

where something has genuinely gone wrong on our end — for example, you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or the content you paid for was faulty, missing or inaccessible and we couldn’t fix it.

If you think something’s gone wrong with your order, please contact us at news@christinacraigcrafts.co.uk and we’ll look into it properly. We’d always rather sort out a genuine problem than leave you stuck.

This section doesn’t affect your other statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a Course is not as described, not fit for purpose, or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

7. Access to your Course

Once you’ve purchased a Course, you’ll receive access to the relevant lessons and materials, usually straight away or within 24 hours. You’ll have ongoing access to your purchased Course for as long as we continue to offer it on our platform. If we ever need to retire a Course, take a platform offline, or make a significant change, we’ll give existing customers reasonable notice and, where possible, a way to keep or download what they’ve paid for.

We’re not responsible for your ability to access the Course due to problems outside our control — for example, your internet connection, device, or issues with a third-party platform we use to host or deliver content.

8. Personal use only

Your Course access is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not share your login or access with anyone else, record, copy, resell, redistribute, publicly perform, or otherwise make our Course content available to others, in whole or in part, without our written permission. Doing so may result in your access being removed without a refund.

9. Intellectual property

All content we provide — including videos, written materials, patterns, images, branding and course structure — is owned by us (or licensed to us) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Buying a Course gives you a licence to use that content for your own personal learning; it does not transfer ownership of it to you.

10. Health and wellbeing

Our Courses may include gentle hand, wrist and finger exercises, or discuss relaxation and stress relief. This content is for general wellbeing and craft-learning purposes only. It is not medical advice, and is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified healthcare professional.

If you have an existing injury, condition, or any pain or discomfort while following our content, please stop and seek appropriate medical advice. You’re responsible for judging what’s right for your own body and taking breaks when you need them.

11. No guaranteed results

We’re honest about what our Courses can do. They teach real skills and techniques, and many students go on to build confidence and complete projects — but we can’t promise a specific outcome, timeframe, or level of skill you’ll reach, since that depends on practice, prior experience, and effort. Testimonials and examples we share are genuine but individual results will vary.

12. Acceptable use of our website

When using our website, you agree not to:

use it in any way that breaks the law, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it;

upload or transmit anything harmful, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights;

attempt to copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the site or Course content beyond what’s needed for your own personal use.

We may suspend or restrict access for anyone who breaches this.

13. Liability

We provide our website and Courses with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that can’t legally be limited or excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

Beyond that, to the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that isn’t reasonably foreseeable, arising from your use of our website or Courses. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Course is limited to the amount you paid for that Course.

We don’t exclude or limit liability for anything where it would be unlawful to do so.

14. Availability of our website

We aim to keep our website and course platform up and running, but we don’t guarantee that access will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may need to suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example if our offers, policies or the law change. The current version will always be available on our website, with the “last updated” date at the top. Changes won’t affect any Course you’ve already purchased under the previous Terms.

16. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with anything, please get in touch first — we’d genuinely like the chance to put it right. Email news@christinacraigcrafts.co.uk with details of your order and what’s gone wrong, and we’ll respond as quickly as we can.

17. Data protection

We take your privacy seriously. Details of what personal information we collect and how we use it are set out in our separate Privacy Policy, available on our website.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK you live in. If you live outside the UK, you may still have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws in your own country, and nothing in these Terms takes those away from you.

19. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we don’t enforce a particular term at some point, that doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the whole agreement between us regarding your purchase.
